Susan D. Steffy is an associate in both the firm's transactional and litigation practice groups. She focuses her practice on litigation and transactional matters, mainly in the areas of governmental affairs, municipal law, and corporate law. She counsels both public- and private-sector clients on a wide variety of matters, including regulatory and compliance issues, employment discrimination, not-for-profit organizations, real estate purchases, and sales and leases.
Prior to joining BBP, she spent three years practicing family law, representing and counseling clients in matters of divorce, child custody, support, and division of property matters. Prior to attending law school, she worked at a bankruptcy and foreclosure firm in Burr Ridge, Illinois.
