BBP's Burns to speak at 2012 Public Funds Forum in Utah

CHICAGO _ Mary Patricia Burns, president of Burke Burns & Pinelli, Ltd., will be among the guest panelists at the fourth annual The Future of Corporate Reform 2012 Public Funds Forum to be held September 4-6 in Park City, Utah.

Ms. Burns will participate in a discussion on whether private securities litigation can protect assets, secure remedies and guard against future losses. Ms. Burns has over 20 years of experience representing public retirement systems, and currently serves as outside and/or fiduciary counsel to several governmental pension funds.

The session, titled "Using Public Action," will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5 at Montage Deer Valley.

Other speakers scheduled to appear at the three-day event include former Secretary of State and retired U.S. Army General Colin Powell, outdoorsman and author Aron Ralston, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and several prominent attorneys from around the United States.
